Mary Louise Jackson was born February 24, 1947, to Christine Louise Keys Jackson and Theodore Jackson in McCalls Creek, Mississippi. Like many southerners of that era, her mother traveled to the North during the great migration. Mary and her younger brother remained in Brookhaven, Mississippi with their grandparents who were devout God-fearing Christians and took care of their several grandchildren raising them in the fear and admonition of the Lord.

In 1955, Christine, after relocating to Youngstown, Ohio and securing employment, sent for her children. Mary Louise was the eldest of five children. Mary would then be her right hand helping her with younger siblings. Mary was a meticulous housekeeper and kept the house clean enough to eat off the floors-a trait that endured for a lifetime.

Mary was baptized at an early age at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Youngstown. Later in years, the family united with Friendship Baptist Church.

Mary attended Grant Elementary School, Hillman Jr. High School and then South High School in Youngstown, Ohio. She was united in marriage to Joe W. Hudson, and they had two children, Jolivia and Anna Maria Hudson.

Mary worked with the State of Ohio at Woodside Psychiatric Facility in Youngstown, Ohio for several years and relocated to Dayton, Ohio and was promoted to Psychiatric Technician. She took a medical retirement in 2011 and relocated to Kannapolis, North Carolina. She loved Dayton and returned there after leaving North Carolina.

In 2021, Mary relocated to Killeen, Texas. While waiting for a ride at WalMart, God directed an angel from Christian House of Prayer (CHOP) who invited her to church. After uniting with CHOP a very special group of women embraced her, loving her with the love of Christ demonstrating agape love.

She leaves to mourn, two daughters: Jolivia Hudson and Anna Maria Hudson of Baltimore, Maryland and grandchildren, Christa Hudson, Chay'La Hudson and Chynna Hudson of Baltimore, Maryland; great grandchildren Sakari and Brayden Kyle; three sisters, Jereline Kendrick, Norma Thigpen and Arlene Thigpen of Fairfield, California and a host of cousins, friends and dear sisters in Christ from CHOP. Lloyd R. Keys, her brother preceded her in death in 1978. Her mother, Christine and stepfather, Joseph Thigpen proceeded her in death in 1988 and 1981 respectively.
