Funeral services for Mrs. Lorene J. Smith, 66 of Killeen, TX will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Tabernacle of Praise Church in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Killeen City Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service (11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) at the church.

Mrs. Smith passed away November 14, 2021 in Harker Heights, TX.

Lorene J. Smith was born in Taylor, Texas on June 26, 1955, to parents Lorenza Hamilton and Sherman Jackson. She attended Taylor High School in Taylor, Texas.

Lorene married the love of her life, Timothy I. Smith on September 6, 1978, in Georgetown, TX. Their union brought them 3 beautiful children, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Lorene resided in the Central Texas area for many years. She was employed with the Killeen Independent School District until her retirement. Lorene was a member of the Tabernacle of Praise Church in Killeen, TX She helped and prayed for many people in her life.

Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 43 years, Timothy I. Smith of Killeen, TX; children, Josie Jackson, Camille Smith, and Dominique Smith; sisters, Corene McKinney, and Lori Braddy; brother, Andrew Hamilton; grandchildren, Japonica Smith, Jaiquan Smith, Jaheim Smith, Jada Smith, Jeremiah Smith, Ethan Davis, Josiah Smith, and Jazzi Smith; her three great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
