Lois Janie
Wiley
Sep 7, 1952 — Apr 11, 2025
Round Rock
Graveside service for Mrs. Lois Janie Wiley will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Our dearest Janie passed away April 11, 2025, in Round Rock, TX. Janie was born September 7, 1952, in El Paso, TX, to the late Percy Brown and Maggie Ford Brown. She attended Bel Air High School in El Paso, TX, where she created and upheld a long-lasting influence on her friends and the local community. Janie was a devoted wife, cherished mother and grandmother, and a loyal friend to many.
Janie celebrated the essence of life, leaving behind a legacy of joy and generosity. She was a dedicated attendee of church with open arms, who lived with the benevolent and charitable mindset of helping others; if she had a penny, she'd gladly share half of it with you. In her spare time, Janie enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. She was also bilingual in Spanish, and carried a deep passion for music, often venturing out to various concerts with a broad taste in genres. Her love for "shoot-em up" cowboy movies, she was known for popping her chewing gum, dining out, and spending time with her grandkids lit up her life.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Wiley; sons, Mark Anthony Brown (wife Evelyn), and Christopher Lamont Brown Sr. (Streisand Harper); twin-brother, Percy Wayne Brown (Andrea), brother, Larry Curtis Brown and she joins brothers, James Payne and Sylvester Payne in eternal rest. Janie is also survived by six nieces and nephews, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of great nieces and nephews, who will always cherish her deeply.
