Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Guilford Robinson, 77 of Copperas Cove, TX will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021, 12:00 p.m.at Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church in Copperas Cove, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX..

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

Mrs. Robinson passed away January 21, 2021 in Copperas Cove, TX.

Lizzie Guilford Robinson was born December 19, 1943 in Dothan, Alabama to Grove Cleveland Guilford and Rosie L. Humphrey Guilford.  She graduated from Rosenwald High School in 1962.

Lizzie married Wilbur Lee Robinson, Sr. on April 17, 1962 in Panama City, Florida.

To that union 4 sons were born.  They later adopted 2 other boys.

Lizzie joined Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church, Copperas Cove, Texas on January 27, 1980 and loved attending church.  She was an active member of the Mission Auxiliary, Sunday School, Baptist Training Union, and Bible Study.

She worked in accounting for 28 years at the Warrior Way AAFES, Fort Hood, Texas.  After retiring, she stayed home and cared for her husband and grandkids. She loved to travel to visit her brothers, sisters, and friends.

Lizzie was preceded in death by her Parents, Grove Cleveland Guilford, and Rosie L. Humphrey Guilford; husband, Wilbur Lee Robinson, Sr.; sisters, Queen Guilford Leonard Carter and Juanita Guilford; brothers, Booker T. Guilford, Dr. C. Clayton Powell, Reverend Lawrence Guilford and Clifford Guilford.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Wilbur Lee Robinson, Jr. (Adrian), Houston, Texas; Reginald Renault Robinson (Melissa), Temple, Texas; Kevin Ramone Robinson (Odessa), Copperas Cove, Texas; Antonio Carlos Robinson, (Shadeja) Copperas Cove, Texas; Xavier Robinson, and Jaron DaWhite Robinson, Copperas Cove, Texas; brothers, Claude Guilford (Valerie), Magnolia, Mississippi; Grover Guilford (Edna), Panama City, Florida; and Mack Guilford (Valerie), Virginia Beach, Virginia; sisters, Rosie Guilford McMillan (Douglas), Fayetteville, North Carolina; Lena Guilford Johnson (Nathaniel), Huntsville, Alabama; Peggy Guilford Humphrey, Augusta, Georgia; sister-in-laws, Patricia Guilford, Modesto, California; Ann Guilford, Enterprise, Alabama; and Debra Powell, Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Vanessa Nicole Robinson Williams, (Andre), Houston, Texas; Rosalinda Cuellar Carlton (Aspen), Colarado Springs, Colorado; Paul Cuellar, Reggie Robinson, Sarah Robinson, Jahnea Robinson, Juyah Robinson, Nasir Robinson, Tariah Robinson, Aurora Robinson, Julia Robinson, Marley Robinson, and Rashaun Gipson; great grand-children, Laken Carlton, Kobe Carlton and Amelia Cuellar.  She was loved and cherished by an abundance of nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly.
