Funeral service for Mrs. Liza Igdalia Sanchez-Nieves, 50 of Killeen, TX will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025, 12:00 p.m. at Iglesia Cristiana Monte Sinai in Killeen, TX. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) at the church.

Liza I. Sanchez Nieves, aged 50, passed away April 4, 2025, in Killeen, TX. She was born June 2, 1974, in Aibonito, P.R., to Father Miguel Angel Sanchez-Santiago and Mother Ramona Nieves Miranda. She graduated from High School in 1993. She married Luis Antonio Aponte-Rodriguez in May of 1995 in Coamo, P.R. She was a beloved infant teacher. Liza truly lived her life to the fullest with simple pleasures of chatting, snacking and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 30 years Luis, children Ana and Louis, sister Jacklyn, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Even though her departure was sudden, we are comforted that she is now with the Lord.
