Mrs. Johnson passed away April 23, 2023, in Temple, TX. She was born April 23, 1950, in Indianola, MS.

Linda Davis Johnson, affectionately known as, "Mother Johnson" was born in Indianola, Mississippi, to the late Roosevelt and Ella Davis. She was a ray of sunshine and breath of fresh air to everyone around. Linda never met a stranger anywhere she went, and if you ever encountered her, she'd be sure to issue you your "blessing" in the Lord.

She became a certified medical assistant in 1973 and worked in the healthcare sector in Indianola, MS and several cities in Texas between Houston and Killeen.

Linda, along with her many siblings, would relocate from Mississippi to different areas of Texas, before deciding to move to Killeen, Texas with her with her husband of 28 years. It would be Linda's last home where she found an amazing pastor and church family. Linda was known as a fashionista. There were no number of shoes, clothes, and jewelry she didn't have.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Harold Davis and Samuel Davis, one sister Julian Davis, and one grandson, DeAndre Nicholas.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Lee Johnson of Killeen, TX; her one and only baby boy, Stanley Nichols, and his wife Gwendolyn also of Killeen, TX; her five sisters, Elaine Davis-Norvell, Effie J. King of Killeen, TX, Mary Kirkland, Brenda Winston of Indianola, MS, and Margarette Davis of Missouri City, TX; her two brothers, Roosevelt Davis Jr. and Franklin Davis of Kansas City, MO.; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a godson, Denaron Babineaux-Godson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
