Funeral service for Ms. Linda Faye Brooks, 71 of Copperas Cove, Texas will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2022 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Ms. Brooks passed away October 20, 2022, in Killeen, TX.

Linda Faye Brooks was born to parents Lemon Smith and Catherine Gilbert in Marianna, FL on September 17, 1951. She was raised in Panama City, FL where she graduated from Bay High School.

Linda Faye, as affectionately called by her family and friends, was a woman known for her love of God and family. She was a woman who lived out loud and brought a certain spark like only she could. Being independent and living life on her own terms is what she is most known for with an electric personality that could draw you into her world. She enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones, eating Popeyes chicken, and all things Tina Turner.  She has left an indelible mark on all those she encountered and will be truly missed.

Left to cherish her memories: son, Narvin J. Stewart (Erica) of Haslet, TX; daughter, Yashika F. Jones (Dewayne) of Killeen, TX; sister, Francie E. Robinson (Franklin) of Gatesville, TX; grandchildren, Jamal K. Stewart of Pensacola, FL, Eli J. Stewart of Haslet, TX, Azalea L. Jones of Killeen, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lemon Smith and Catherine Brooks, and sister Elois D. Lott.
