Funeral services for Mrs. Leonora Rivera, 72 of Killeen, TX will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023, 12:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service (10:00 a.m. - 12:00p.m.) at the funeral home.

Leonora Leslie Rivera, known to most as Barbara, of Killeen Texas, was born on October 7, 1950, in Panama City, Panama and went to be with our Lord on January 9, 2023, in San Antonio, TX. She left Panama in the late 60's and finally made her home in Killeen, Texas in the mid 70's. She was married to her late spouse, Tom Dunn for over 30 years.

Leonora worked at the Army Airforce Military Exchange for 32 years as well as the School District for an additional 10 years then later retired. She was a force of nature who loved some Bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching football and keeping herself updated with daily events in world news like CNN. She will always be remembered by her bluntness and willingness to speak her mind! She will be greatly missed and loved by many.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, David Logan, Denise Armstrong (Logan), Ryan Baloy Rivera and wife Sarah, Shaena Cannon (Rivera) and husband Jonathan; grandchildren, Shanika Logan, Markiya Logan, David Logan Jr., Stefawn Logan, Ciara Duvall, Sierra Miller, Kierra Miller, Jamel Logan, Davante Logan, Davaughn Logan, Giavana Rivera, Marcellus Cannon, Malachi Cannon, Cataleya Cannon; great-grandchildren's, Alina Walker and 8 others; sister, Engenia Hunter; and a host of other family members and friends.

Leonora is preceded in death by her spouse, Tom Dunn; parents Christopher Leslie and Gwendolyn Gordon; brothers, Christopher, Rodolpho and Melbourne.
