Memorial service with Navy Honors for Mr. Leonard Ray Lynce Sr., 57 of Killeen, TX will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Harker Heights, TX.

With humble hearts we celebrate the beautiful life of Leonard Ray Lynce Sr., who was called home on July 16, 2026.

Leonard was born in Fort Hood, Texas on January 21, 1969. He was a PROUD Killeen Kangaroo! He put the Dawg in Roo Dawgs! He continued to play football at Tarleton State University and Mississippi State before earning his bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University. He dutifully served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy.

Leonard lived a full life that exemplified love, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to family. He
was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Loria, sharing over forty years together. Leonard was a devoted and loving father who leaves behind three children, Brenden, Leonard Jr. (Crystal), and Tomika, who were the pride and joy of his life. He cherished being a parent to them with Loria, as they watched them grow into the accomplished adults they are today, taking great pride in their achievements and the lives they have built.

He will also be remembered as a loving and giving grandfather to Aden, Ryleigh and A'niyah. He
took immense pride in spoiling his grandchildren and showering them with love as they brought immeasurable happiness to his life. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, sharing stories, laughter, and creating memories they will carry with them forever.

Leonard will be lovingly remembered forever in the hearts of his mother, Anita, his brother,  Christopher, and the host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who adored him. His generosity, gentle spirit, and genuine interest in the lives of others made him the cherished "Uncle Leonard." The love he shared with all he encountered will remain an enduring part of his legacy.
He will be eternally remembered for his compassion, giving nature, sense of humor, and the way he always sought to make those around him feel valued and loved. Leonard's life was one of resilience, generosity, and unwavering devotion to the people who mattered most.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Donald Greene, and grandmother Dorothy Greene.
