Funeral service for Mr. Leon Wagner II, 51 of Killeen, TX will be held Friday, May 30, 2025, 12:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service (11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

We are here to celebrate the life of Leon Lamar Wagner II, affectionately known as Daddy Wags, Mad Dog and to his family "Fuzzy." Leon was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and dear friend. Mr. Wagner passed away May 12, 2025, in Killeen, TX. He was born on January 16, 1974, in Los Angeles, CA.

Leon was born to Leon and Phyllis Wagner in Los Angeles, California where he spent his young years and later moving to San Francisco, California. Leon demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit at an early age and went on to pursue many different business ventures. He moved to Killeen, Texas in June of 2012, where he met and married his beloved wife of eleven years, Kenya Sharmaine. It was at this time that Leon settled into his role as a leader in the church, a husband and father. Leon and Kenya welcomed their cherished daughter, Khalani Samone, on April 23, 2023.

Leon worked hard to build and successfully manage the "Hogg Wash," a well-known motorcycle detailing business that was a staple for many riders in the region. Leon and Kenya also owned and operated Wagner's Steaks," a food truck business that afforded Leon to do what he was most passionate about…food and creating and cooking his favorite dishes for his customers. It was hard work but his warm personality and genuine smile, the customers kept coming back for more.

A true lover of the outdoors, Leon found joy in fishing and spending time with his family, and closest friends. He especially loved the bond and fellowship he shared with his motorcycle community, the Unleashed Beasts (ULB) and Buffalo Soldiers.

Leon was cherished by all who knew him well. He is loved, his memory cherished and his infectious smile that could light up any room will be greatly missed.

Leon leaves to mourn his wife, Kenya, his mother, Phyllis Johnson, his sister, Lei Juana Wagner, his brother Ed (Zolinka) Crawford.

He also leaves a legacy through his children Trazine Wagner, Lamar Wagner, Neeko Wagner and two grandchildren, Skylar Wagner and Mahalani Morrison.

Leon will be missed by a host of nieces and nephews, Eddie Crawford IV., Ariana Crawford Razo, Cortez Lemar Crawford, Taylor Abercrumbie, Julian Smith, Victor Rivera Wagner, Johanna Rivera Wagner, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Leon is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his father, Leon Wagner Sr. and his sister, Rosa Wagner.
