Funeral service for Mr. Larry Pervin Kidd Jr. 28 of Killeen, Texas will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, Texas. Burial will follow the service at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service (8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.) at the funeral home.
Larry Pervin Kidd Jr. was born September 2, 1995, to the parents Sandra Jean Williams and Larry Pervin Kidd Sr. in Sylacauga, Al. He was proceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his niece, and a host of aunts, and uncles.
Larry moved to East St. Louis in 1997 where he spent his adolescent years playing little league football, later moving to Killeen, TX where he thrived in football, basketball, band, wrestling, boxing, and academics during his middle school and high school years. Graduating in 2013 from Killeen High School, Larry would later go on to play football at Mary Harden Baylor in Belton, TX and at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM. After suffering from a broken finger multiple times, Larry decided to put the football down and explore his talents in writing music as MFN Youngboss making hits across YouTube and SoundCloud. Larry eventually got back into football playing for a semi-pro team, Capital City Bison. Larry was known for his smile, smart mouth, and witty comebacks. Always goofy and making people smile with his jokes.
While in high school Larry met the mother of his kids Lashayla Rider and together, they share 3 beautiful children Layla Kidd (8), Larry Kidd III (6), and Londyn Kidd (1). They later married January 5, 2021 - January 18, 2024.
On Saturday, February 17, 2024, Larry gained his wings. He leaves his memories to be cherished by: his loving parents, Sandra Williams and Larry (Marcia) Kidd Sr.; his children, Layla, Larry III, and Londyn; three sisters, Candace (LaMarcus) Crenshaw, Chelmense (Alfred) Swain-Buckner, Destony (Ashley) Rogers; four brothers, Larry Swain, Pervin Swain, Danial (Brittani) Schurlock-Williams, Lamont Williams; stepbrother, Lean Mullings; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
