Funeral service for Mrs. Kenyatta Lillie Madison-Paxton, 24 of Killeen, TX will be held Friday, May 13, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen.

Kenyatta Lillie Madison-Paxton, affectionately known as "Budda" was born on December 12, 1997, in Norfolk, Virginia to Lois Ellis Madison and Kenneth Madison. She confessed and received Jesus Christ as her savior at the age of 12. She graduated from Copperas Cove High School in Copperas Cove, TX in 2016.
On July 13, 2017, she married Chance Paxton in Copperas Cove, TX. She then moved to North Carolina where she studied to become a Pharmacy Technician, she graduated getting her degree in 2018. Kenyatta was a very caring, loving person. She was always helping people and was very friendly. In her spare time, she loved to read, write, sing, and play volleyball. She worked briefly at Teleperformance and for a Construction Company in Georgetown, TX. She was a fan of the TV shows The Golden Girls and Ridiculousness. She also loved crossword puzzles and playing cards.
Kenyatta moved back home to Texas in 2019. She was looking into the pursuit of becoming a doctor.
Left to cherish her many memories: her husband, Chance M. Paxton of La Grange, North Carolina; father, Kenneth Madison (Megan) of Overbrook, Kansas; mother, Lois Madison of Killeen, Texas; brothers, George Price, Jr. of Killeen, Texas, Elijah Ellis of Killeen, Texas, and Mekiah Ellis of Killeen, Texas; sister, Kendra Madison of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Kensley Madison of Overbrook, Kansas; stepbrother, Jalen Smith of Overbrook, Kansas; grandmother, Fatina Ellis of Arlington, Texas; and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandpa, James Ellis, Jr., and great grandparents, James, and Virgie Ellis.
