With hearts full of love and deep sorrow, we celebrate the life of Juzell Necole Hamilton Valentine, who peacefully transitioned on July 5, 2025. Juzell, the daughter of Terrence and Pamela Valentine, was born in Chicago, IL on December 21, 1983. She was the oldest of three siblings, a devoted sister, loving mother and steadfast friend.
At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized under the leadership of the late Bishop LaDell Thomas, Sr. at Deliverance and Praise Temple Church of God in Christ. She remained a faithful member under the continued leadership of Bishop LaDell Thomas, Jr., now serving at the Cathedral of Deliverance and Praise Church of God in Christ.
A Life of Purpose and Dedication
Juzell grew up in Killeen, Texas. Juzell received her early education at Charles W. Earl Patterson Elementary and Shoemaker High School. She later pursued professional training as a Medical Assistant at First Response Medical Training, driven by a strong desire to serve and help others. Although she excelled in healthcare, her passion for technology and people led her to a successful career in customer relations at Humana Insurance, where she was known for her diligence, professionalism, and compassionate spirit.
A Passion for Life and Family
To know Juzell was to know pure, unwavering love- love for family, love for laughter, and love for life's special moments. Her energy was unmatched, her joy was contagious, and her presence was a gift to all who knew her. Family was everything to Juzell. She cherished every gathering, every celebration, and every shared laugh. She never missed an opportunity to be present for her loved ones. She built an unbreakable bond with her siblings, children, nieces, and extended family, always making sure they felt loved and valued.
A Legacy of Love
Juzell's love knew no boundaries. Her presence radiated warmth, and she had a way of making everyone feel special. Her ability to love deeply and give selflessly was a testament to the beautiful soul she was. Juzell is preceded in death by her cherished brother, Terrance Valentine II, with whom she is now joyfully reunited. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories to be forever honored by her devoted sister, Angelica Valentine; her beloved children: daughters A'Nyra Hamilton, Ja'Zavia Hamilton, and son Matthew Peterick; nieces Heavenly Valentine and Divine Middlebrook; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues. She will also be lovingly remembered by Ruben Howard and family.
Forever in Our Hearts
There are truly no words to describe how deeply Juzell will be missed. Her spirit was one of love, joy, and resilience. She made an impact on everyone she encountered, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Though she may no longer walk beside us, her laughter, her energy, and her boundless love remain. We will continue to celebrate her life and keep her spirit alive in all we do.
Rest peacefully, Juzell. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
