Johnovan Christopher Pease was born on Tuesday, October 4th, 1994, at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, TX, at 7:03 a.m. Johnovan passed away on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, at 8:27 a.m., in Waco, TX, at the age of 30.
Johnovan lived in the Central Texas area for a few years before moving to Atlanta, GA in the summer of 1996. Johnovan started playing little league football at the age of 8. We moved to Norcross, GA, in Gwinnett County in 2001. Johnovan continued playing football & gained many meaningful relationships with his coaches & teammates. He played for the Mountain Park Panthers until he was a freshman at Parkview High School, in Lilburn, GA. Johnovan worked at a carwash while in school and thoroughly enjoyed dealing with people. Johnovan graduated in 2013 with honors. He then went on to pursue a Business degree at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. He was a hard worker and very motivated. He would calculate his checks during his work week to see how much money he was going to receive. He loved making money. He was a hustler always. Johnovan traveled, enjoying a good life for what little time he was here on earth.
Johnovan loved his family beyond measure. He was a very loving, kindhearted & caring soul who always wanted others to be happy. He was a big teddy bear that wouldn't hurt a fly. He was my twin, my best friend, my confidant, my EVERYTHING! He wouldn't tell you this, but he was a momma's boy. Before Johnovan left this earth, he relocated back to the Central Texas area and was able to spend many memorable moments with his family.
Johnovan will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. God gave me Johnovan to love and take care of. He was placed on this earth to spread love & take care of anyone he encountered. He did his job & completed his task given by God. Now he is back in God's arms resting peacefully, because of this, I am at peace too. God makes no mistakes, so we will not question his process because he knows what's right.
Johnovan is survived by his mother, bonus dad, siblings, grandmothers, grandfather, aunts, uncles, a host of cousins, great cousins & a plethora of friends.
Thank you to all who have reached out at this difficult time. Please continue to lift our family in prayer. We are truly touched by the love shown to our family & are forever grateful. Johnovan will forever remain in our hearts. #JPStrong
