Funeral service for Mrs. Jo Ann Inge 70 of Copperas Cove, Texas will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church in Copperas Cove, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service (12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.) at the church.
Jo Ann Inge's earthly arrival was June 4 ,1951 to the parents of Matthew Hudson Jr. and Clementine Hudson-Williams in Mobile, Alabama. She attended and graduated from Blount High School in Mobile, Alabama.
Jo Ann married the love of her life, Teemer Inge III (Pops) on February 14, 1974. They relocated to Copperas Cove, Texas where she was a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 20 years. After retiring from nursing, Teemer (Pops) and Jo Ann became dedicated foster parents for almost 20 years.
Upon her uniting with the Church on May 4th, 1986; she wasted no time serving God's purpose as Lord of her life. She was a member of Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church for 35 years. She loved her church with a passion. She served on the Food Committee and was an active member of the Senior Mission, Sunday School, Mass Choir, Usher Board, Baptist Training Union and was a great contributor to the Pastor's Anniversary Celebrations.
Jo Ann's heavenly departure was October 12 th , 2021.
She was proceeded in death by her brother, Terry Lee Hudson; father, Matthew Hudson Jr.; mother, Clementine Hudson-Williams; sister, Gwendolyn Franklin and brother Frederick Evans III.
Jo Ann is survived by her loving and devoted husband Teemer Inge III; daughter, Tivita Inge McClendon of Mobile, Alabama; and two sons Teemer Inge (Liz) of Texas City and Timothy J. Inge (Jenny Walter) of Houston, Texas; 4 Granddaughters and 5 Grandsons
Jo Ann is also survived by her siblings; Geraldine Reynolds, Matthew (Brenda) Hudson III, Stepheny Fair, Christine (Danny Sr.) Cobb, Michael E. Hudson, Angela (Alfred) Peavy, Mollie (Rayfield Sr.) Collins, Roderick Evans, Tracey (Tremayne Sr.) Quinsey, all of Mobile, Alabama and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, foster children and friends.
