Obituary

Memorial service for Mrs. Jeannette Anne Adams, 47 of Copperas Cove, TX will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021 11:00 a.m. at Christian House of Prayer in Copperas Cove, TX. Inurnment with military honors will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Mrs. Adams passed away October 9, 2021 in Round Rock, TX.

Jeannette Anne Adams was born in Dallas, Texas on October 11, 1973, to Brenda C. Lewis and James Stafford. She graduated from A. Maceo Smith high school in 1993.

After graduation Jeannette worked as a security officer for three years. She met her husband Stacey Adams of Dallas, Texas. After a long courtship they married and remained married for over 25 wonderful years. That relationship birthed her first and only child Camelia Jeannae Adams.

Jeannette served proudly in the U.S. Army while stationed in Hanau, Germany for three years. After the Army she worked for the Department of Defense for 6 years at Carl R. Darnall Medical Center Fort Hood, Texas.

She was a faithful member of the Christian House of Prayer (CHOP), Killeen, Texas since 2002. While at CHOP she served on the Unseen Hands Ministry and as a Greeter. Jeannette was also a graduate of The Sonship School of the Firstborn class of 2009.

Jeannette was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. Some of her favorite joys were Praise and Worship service, studying the Word, writing, skating, watching movies and 70's sitcoms.

Left to cherish her memory: her beloved husband, Stacey Adams; daughter, Camelia Adams; father, James Stafford; brother, Terrance (Tren'a) Lewis; aunts, Veatrice Thurmon, Brenda Johnson, Cynthia Johnson, and Aretha Johnson; cousins, Thomas Jacobs, Tracy Thurmon, Dale Johnson. Alquita Johnson, and Monique Johnson; half-sisters, Winona Annoor, and Devaki Stafford; half-brother, Jamaal Stafford; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Elze Jacobs, her mother Brenda C. Lewis, her aunt Lois Jacobs, and her cousin Damon Thurman.
