Funeral service for Mr. Jason Dean Seymour, 45 of Killeen, TX will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, 3:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Mr. Seymour passed away November 2, 2022, in Austin, TX. He was born March 24, 1977, in Wichita, KS.

Jason Dean Seymour, 45 years old, of Killeen, Texas, passed away, on 2 November 2022, from a heart attack.  He was predeceased by his Great Grandfather and Grandmother, Phillip L. and Margaret Stratford; his Great Grandfather and Grandmother, Joseph and Dorothy J. Takach; his grandfather and Grandmother, Phillip L. and Patricia A Stratford, Jr.; his Uncle Michael Stratford; and his "Aunt" Patsy J. Carroll.  He left behind his Stepfather (who loved him as his own son) and Mother, Jamie R. and Linda S. Hall; Stepbrother and Stepsister, Carl J. and Christina R. Hall; Stepdaughter (who he loved very much, as his own daughter) Kalin McIntosh, 25; Daughter Seraphim M. Seymour, 19; Daughter Adalaide M. Seymour, 8; only Son Tyrion C. Seymour, 7; Daughter Ophelia J. Seymour, 4; Great Aunt Deb Takach; Uncle Gary and Aunt Julie Atcherson; Uncle Lee Stratford; Nancy J. Stratford; and a multitude of cousins who adored and respected him, as well as friends and colleagues.

He was huge fan of the outdoors, loved adventures, camping under the stars, being grill master, fishing, motorcycling, firing weapons, archery, jeep-offroading and traveling.  He loved reading anything on paper especially philosophy, astronomy, and physics when not wrapped up in a fantasy, sci-fi, or horror novel.  He traveled to Berlin and to East Germany through Checkpoint Charlie; bicycled from South Germany to France for fresh croissants; skied the alps of Austria; he beach-hopped from Adana, Turkey, all the way to Izmir, Turkey, and back with parasailing along the way.  His all-time favorite hobby was his children.  He was fun and quick-witted. He spent countless hours playing, drawing, and did things like carving pumpkins and decorating gingerbread houses with them.  He was teaching them cooking skills and grill secrets.  He hugged, snuggled, kissed and loved them no matter how tired he was.  He comforted them when they were sick.  He read to them nightly with his various "voices."  He loved having movie nights at home with popcorn and movie candy.  He took them to the park for play as well as taught them how to do the monkey bars.  He took Addie and Tyrion 4-wheeling and Ophelia riding her tractor.  He taught them archery and shooting skills.  He took them to the lake to go boating, canoeing, swimming, and snorkeling.  He even climbed into their little home pool and played with them.  He taught them how to play poker as well as other card and board games.  He especially enjoyed being the Dungeon Master of DnD games using his special "voices" on his littles, grandpa, and grandma.  Everything he did was for his children.  He always put them first.  According to his littles, and everyone who knew him, "He is the best daddy ever!!"

He started his supervising career with MAC Pizza Mgmt. where he earned Rookie Manager and Manager of the Year Awards.  He then moved to electrical arena where he was a well-respected and very conscientious worker in Engineering Technologies within the Fire Alarm Community.  He started this career at TTG Electrical as an installer - technician - foreman.  He then moved to Convergint Technologies as installation supervisor – project team lead – installation manager.  Owned Probity Special Systems for 2 years.  He then found his final home and an incredible brotherhood within Firetrol Protection Systems, Inc.  He earned a Master's Equivalent in his field thru all his specialized courses.  He possessed NICET IV – Fire Alarm Systems; Texas Alarm Planning Superintendent License; ACR-2553398; 30-hour OSHA certification; Texas Private Security License; B12708901; and possessed many other certificates as well.
