Funeral service for Jaquan Tahja Davis, 16 of Killeen, TX will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021, 12:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Viewing will be held one hour prior to service (11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Jaquan passed away May 31, 2021 in Fort Hood, TX. He was born September 23, 2004 in Tupelo, MS.

To the world he was an aspiring rapper, known as Gwapo, but he was born Jaquan T. Davis on September 23, 2004, to Parishae Fair and Garrett Davis. While residing in Killeen, Texas Willie and Dyrenda Hodges were given the honor of being his parents.

Jaquan accepted Christ at a young age and not only attended church under the guidance of Willie and Dyrenda Hodges, but they ensured that he was trained up in accordance with Bible principles and standards.

Jaquan was a curious student who enjoyed playing sports, fishing, and fulfilling his dream of rapping. Although often quiet he was passionate while performing, which gave those who were not close family members an opportunity to catch a glimpse of his raw talent.

Jaquan T. Davis departed this life on Monday May 31, 2021. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Renada Davis Bennett.

Although he was only here for a short while Jaquan was always surrounded with love. He leaves to cherish his memoires: his parents, Parishae Fair, Garrett Davis, Willie Hodges and Dyrenda Hodges; grandparents, Nora Robbins (George) and Bobby Fair; brothers, Ladorian Gregory, Oshea Calvert, Saxrick Gregory (Carla), Shangus Gregory, Ahmadric Hodges, Jaquez Cherry, Jaquaris Cherry, and Janard Cherry; sisters, Keirston Calvert, Lillianette Gregory, and Shampree Hodges;and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
