Funeral services for Ms. Ja'Mira Ranae Sampson, 24 of Killeen, TX will be held Friday, December 27, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 26, 2024 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.
Ja'Mira Ranae Sampson was born October 11, 2000, in Killeen, TX, graduated from Shoemaker Highschool, and attended Texas Southern University. She graduated from Yahweh Beauty Academy in September 2024 and was attending Central Texas College to pursue a business degree. She passed away December 15, 2024, in Round Rock, TX.
Ja'Mira was baptized at an early age on February 28, 2016, at Simmonsville Baptist Church by the late Pastor H.E. Dubose. Ja'Mira was a member of the praise dance team.
Ja'Mira was a force to be reckoned with; she was determined and focused when she had her mind set. Ja'Mira got to enjoy and experience many activities throughout her precious time on earth. Ja'Mira was a purple belt in karate, danced on the praise team, and danced with Beat Street Studios as a young girl. Ja'Mira played traveling basketball with her dad as her coach, ran track, played clarinet, and was an artist. She was a cosmetologist and was looking to one day own her shop.
Her granny Alzey Orr, grandfather James Evans, and cousin, Velvet Stuckey preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are her dad and mom Jacob and Sondra Sampson both of Killeen, Texas; brother Bryan Price of Harker Heights, Texas; sister Ja'Liyah Sampson (Trevoughn Lott) from Harker Heights, Texas; cousin/brother Antjuane Cooper of Saginaw, Michigan; two nephews Kaison Price of Jacksonville, Florida, and Kamari Sampson, of Harker Heights, Texas; niece Amaiya Price of Killeen, Texas; grandfather Alonzo Sampson of Saginaw, Michigan; granny Ruby Morgan of Ford Heights, Illinois; and her special friend Trey Murphy of Killeen, Texas.
