Memorial service for Mr. James Trevell Martin, 46 of Killeen, TX will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Chisolm's family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Mr. Martin passed away September 29, 2021 in Harker Heights, TX. He was born August 23, 1975 in Hope, AR.

James was the third of five children born to James and Shirley Martin. He was born on August 23, 1975, in Hope Arkansas. James attended school in Killeen, Tx. He earned his G.E.D, and later attended Central Texas College to complete the Truck Driving school. He attended Simmionsville Missionary Baptist church in Killeen, Texas.

James met his first love Kassandra Chong and together they had two children. James went to work for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Gatesville, Tx. He then met the second love of his life Jennifer Hendrich and they had three children together. Later in life he met Christina McGowan and together they had one child. James loved attending church and listening to the church choir in. He also loved the podcast he was a part of lovegodlovehispeople.org

Survivors: his mother, Shirley Odum; his sisters, Evangela Gates, Kanary Abram, and Carnisha Martin-Odum; his children, Trevion Martin, Tashawn, Sade Hendrich-Brown, James Martin, Alyssa Hendrich, and Kristiana McGowan; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his oldest brother Demond Lamont Martin, his father his: James Martin, Hubert Fontenot, his grandparents William and Jewel Bland, grandmother Mildred Harris, his bestfriend Ed, and his granddaughter Nalani Hendrich.
