Memorial service for Mr. James Gabriel Martin, 23 of Killeen, TX will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

James Gabriel Martin was born on February 13, 2001, in Killeen, Texas, to Jennifer Hendrich and James Martin. He graduated from Killeen High School in 2020. He passed away December 19, 2024, in Killeen, TX.

During high school, James participated in the fire academy, demonstrating his ambition and dedication. He enjoyed playing football during his middle school years, ran track from middle school through high school, and was a proud member of the middle school band. James was known for his humor and vibrant personality, often filling rooms with laughter. He was a determined young man with a unique ability to bring joy to others.

James went on to create a beautiful family with his wife, Kiara Bernadette Martin. Together, they welcomed two sons, Landyn Xavier Martin and Jaxson Gabriel Martin, who were the light of his life.

James is survived by his loving wife, Kiara Martin, and his two sons, Landyn and Jaxson. He is also cherished by his mother, Jennifer Hendrich; his siblings, Trevion Martin, Tashawn Chunn, Sade Hendrich-Brown, Krisitana McGowan, and Alyssa Hendrich; his nephew, Nasir Brown-Hendrich; and his grandparents, Henriette Haskins and Shirley Odum. He will be deeply missed by his aunts, Jessica Johnson, Dominique Hendrich, Kanary Abram, Carneisha Odum, and Rochelle Gates; his uncles; and numerous other family members and friends.

James was preceded in death by his father, James Martin, and his niece, Nalani Hendrich.

James's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
