Inurnment with military honors for Ms. Jacqueline Michelle Graham, 58, of Killeen, Texas, will be held Tuesday June 25, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Central Texas State Veteran Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home.

Ms. Graham passed away June 16, 2024, in Harker Height, Texas.

Born on October 25, 1965, Jacqueline Michelle Changoo, most commonly known as Jackie or Ms. Graham was born in L'Abbayee Castries St. Lucia. She'd often share memories of climbing fruit trees and spending time with her family. Moving to the Virgin Islands at the age of fourteen, she graduated from Charlotte Amalie High School.

An ROTC cadet in high school, Jackie went on to join the United States Army shortly thereafter. Well-loved and feisty, she quickly adapted to military life where she would serve for ten years including in Germany, South Korea, Cuba, and Texas before she was honorably discharged. She would spend the next several years as a homemaker to her two and soon to be three children, Leandra, Charlotte, and Larry II and many other children in her home daycare.

A big proponent for education Jackie's goal was to complete her bachelor's degree. Overcoming the challenge of going to college while moving so often as an army wife, she earned her degree in English/Secondary Education at Central Texas College, Henderson State University. Becoming a teacher, she was respected and beloved by both staff and students alike. Her final position was at Shoemaker high school as a special education teacher where she went out of her way for her "kids" some even calling her mom. One common saying about Jackie was how she could never say no, often going above and beyond to assist others in various capacities.

Jackie leaves behind three children Leandra Changoo, Charlotte Dudley (S-I-L DeAndre), Larry Tyson II; four grandchildren, Caleb, Cailin, Dreia, Dillyn; Mother Laura Ashby; brothers Gregory Changoo, Dexter Ashby, Jan Ashby; her special Aunt Beata Mamwell along with several other loving Aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Nigel Ashby; grandparents John and Anastasie Changoo; Father, Gilbert Bastien.
