Ms. Harris passed away March 30, 2021 in Harker Heights, TX. She was born March 9, 1992, Fort Hood, Texas.

Iman Harris was born at Darnell Community Hospital, March 9, 1992, to Tracy Harris-Taylor and Gene Harris. Iman's name itself has the meaning of "Faith and Belief." The only name that truly represents all the faith and belief that her birth provided for her family. She instilled fight and courage from the first moment of her birth and showed us how to follow. Her strength to fight for her life enabled her to overcome all the obstacles she encountered - she refused to allow them to keep her from participating in LIFE. She traveled for weekend softball tournaments, vacations to Disney World and enjoyed amusement park rides, dance recitals, family reunions, and school. She graduated from Ellison High School in 2014. Moni Mon, Pooka Lu, Boo Boo Girl, and Peaches was and will forever be a "Go Baby." All she needed was her car seat, wheelchair, go-bag, and we were off – and we cannot forget the Saturdays in the shop.

Iman's smile and laugh were infectious. Many nights, she, and her Granny (her Guardian Angel) would be up all night laughing and partying. She would keep the whole house up because they were so loud. Even thru the surgeries and hospitalizations, she would always find a way to smile and to provide comfort to us. To let "US" know that she was alright. Even during her last battle with COVID, she opened her eyes, smiled, and laughed for the last time on 21 Mar 21.

Life presented her with great challenges, but her spirit was never broken. Her enthusiasm for life and unbridled fight garnered her love and reverence from anyone who was ever blessed to have met her and was something that shined all the days of her life until her passing on 30 March 2021. We love and miss her terribly.

Iman's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her loving mother and father, Tracy Harris-Taylor and Markanthony Taylor; her loving Sister Alexa; Great Aunt Joan (Bernard) Bendy; Great Uncle Nicky Manning; Aunts Debra Tolliver, Rhonda Bell, Marshane Taylor, Chanika (Rennie) Taylor-Walters, Karen Bell: Uncles Devrick Bell, Da'Mone Brown, Melvin (Tatiana) Taylor; her loving Cousins Kevin Manning, Meka Bell, Omar Bell-Smith, Kailin and Derica Bell, Brandon Brown-Marks, Thaigo, and Kalani Bell, Tiara Taylor, VaNessa Taylor, and Malik Taylor, Rennie Jr.,  Caleb Walters, Harry Jr., and Kiyomi Tolliver: and her youngest cousin Apollo Bell; Dad Gene Harris. She is also survived by a host of loving family members, friends, and all the wonderful caregivers that took the time to learn Iman and care for her needs: Edith Jones, Gwen Combs, and Valerie Wallace.
