Funeral service for Mrs. Glenda Ann Travis, 59 of Killeen, TX will be held Monday, May 10, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX, with viewing to be held one hour prior to the service (10:00: p.m. a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 9, 2021 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Mrs. Travis passed away May 3, 2021 in Killeen, TX.

Glenda Ann (Tootie) Travis was born in Banning, California on the 12th of November 1961. She was the third born child to the late Jessie Ira and Grace Elizabeth Jones. She graduated from Palm Springs High School, 'Home of the Indians' in 1979. After graduation, she studied at the University of California, Fullerton.

She met the love of her life in 1983, Terrol (Terry) DeBaun Travis of Killeen, Texas. After a long courtship they married and remained so for over 37 wonderful years.

Glenda served proudly as a civil service worker for the U. S. Army, Wurzburg, Germany and at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Fort
Roots, Arkansas. She also worked faithfully for the Killeen Independent School District for over 7 years.

In 1996 Glenda graduated from The Agape School of World Evangelism, Agape Church International, Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a member of The Christian House of Prayer, Killeen, Texas and also attended The Shoreline Christian Center, Austin, Texas.

She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. One of her favorite joys was sharing the gospel to everyone she met and spending
time with her family, especially her two grandsons Mali and Izzy.

She is survived by her beloved husband, daughter Jessica Elizabeth Keahey of San Antonio, Texas; grandsons Malakai Azzan Keahey and Israel DeBaun Keahey; sisters Brenda Girardeau of Hope Mills, North Carolina; Linda Davis of Harker Heights, Texas; Patricia (Tracy) Jones of Waipahu, Hawaii; Catherine Gibson of Charlotte, North Carolina; brothers Jessie (Ira) Jones of Salt Lake City, Utah; Mormen Jones of Palm Springs, California and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
