Funeral service for Mrs. Freweini Papaioannou 73 of Killeen, TX will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, 4:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service (2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Mrs. Papaioannou passed away July 3, 2024, in Temple, TX. She was born February 25, 1951, in Asmara, Africa.

Freweini, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Luigi Papaioannou, her four loving daughters, Eleni Papaioannou, Chel Jones Bey, Eleonora Lawrence, Delilah Papaioannou, and son-in-law Cedric Jones Bey, seven adoring grandchildren, Jazzman Benford, Khailill Papaioannou-Knight, Naomi Lawrence, Kayla Papaioannou-Knight, Cameron Burrell, Nichole Lawrence, Jerome Knight, and two precious great-grandchildren, Sofia Olafusi, and Kalani Hall.

She will be lovingly received in heaven by her mother and father, her sister, Zewdie, her brother, Gehbriet, and her beloved grandson, Tyrek Benford.

God picked a beautiful flower from the garden of life when He called Freweini home. Our mother had a profound love for her family and her garden, which she nurtured with the same care and devotion she gave to her loved ones. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit and love will forever bloom in the hearts of those who knew her.
