Eloisa Hernandez, born and raised in Killeen, Texas on May 15, 1943, left to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Good Friday, March 29, 2024. She was 80 years young.
Eloisa's love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was boundless and a testament to her nurturing spirit.
At just 16 years old, Eloisa married her beloved Pedro Hernandez, Sr. on November 16, 1959. Having her own home and family was her passion in life. She always made sure that her children came first and that they were raised in a loving home. She stayed at home with her children until the youngest went to school. The Hernandez home was the home to be at during summer vacations.
She enjoyed softball, tea parties, and building boys and girls clubhouses with her kids. Eloisa was the life of the party, and a social butterfly, always. Eloisa loved to sew, crochet, garden and spend time with friends and family. With her gifted hands, Eloisa crafted quilts, ponchos, beanie hats, clothing, and many more cherished items that showed her creativity and love.
She is survived by: her children, Maria, Pedro Jr., Isidro, Jose; two daughters-in-law, Mandy, and Jennifer; son-in-law, Tony; six siblings, Elena, Monico, Frank, Vera, Becky, and Janie. She is also survived by: seven grandchildren, Jerome, Bridgette, Gabriel, Rhett, Presley, Tegan, and Dillinger; ten great-grandchildren, Samuel, Teddy, Meadow, Scarlett, Lorelei, Logan, Arlo, Evan, Rogen, and Tsubaki; and a host of friends and family that have impacted her life as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jesusa Delgado, her husband Pedro Sr., sister Elisa, sister Mary, and son Jesus Hernandez, and his wife, Tammy.
