Memorial service for Mrs. Eleanor Louise Farmer-Grace 58, of Killeen, Texas will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, Texas. Mrs. Grace passed away August 24, 2021, in Killeen, Texas. She was born May 26, 1963, in Waco, Texas.
Eleanor Louise Famer-Grace was born on May 26, 1963, in Waco, Texas,
Eleanor graduated in 1980, from Advisor Waco High School in Waco, Texas. While in high school she played volleyball, basketball and ran track.
On February 14, 1989, she married Gilbert Demara and shortly afterwards, they adopted Nikalaus D. Demara.
In 2007, she was called into the ministry where she served faithfully at True Victory Baptist Church in North Pole, Alaska, under her mentor "the white-haired lady" Reverend Helen and David Phillips.
On June 26, 2017, she married Reverend Lee Grace in Fairbanks, Alaska. To this union four children were born: Tiffany, Cortencie, Tanesha and Perez. While living in Alaska, she ran a successful day care center, called "Circle of Friends Daycare" in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Eleanor was a past member of Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Waco, Texas (where she served on the Youth Usher Board) and True Victory Baptist Church of North Pole, Alaska. She was a present member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Palmer Alaska.
Eleanor was also a member of the NAACP Youth Council Advisor and a Girl Scout Leader in Waco, Texas.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband Jebther Lee Grace of Anchorage, AK; children: Nikalaus D. Demara of Fairbanks, Perez Lee Grace, Tiffany A. Grace, Cortencie E. Grace all of Fairbanks, AK and Taneshia D. Grace of New Orleans, LA; nine grandchildren; mother, Joyce M. Richardson; sisters: Carla F. Jones of Dallas, TX, Diane Farmer of Waco, TX and Mayaka Martin of Killeen, TX and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins' other relatives and friends.
