Graveside service for Mr. Eddie Eugene Williams, 75, of Killeen will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX. Viewing will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.
Mr. Williams passed away on November 6, 2025, in Harker Heights, Texas. He was born on December 27, 1949, in Temple, Texas, to George Williams and Percy Jean Kirt.
A proud veteran, Mr. Williams honorably served in the United States Army, earning numerous decorations, including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Bronze Star, and Sharpshooter (M-14 Rifle). Following his military service, he dedicated 21 years to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Palestine, where he worked as a correctional officer until his retirement.
Mr. Williams cherished time with his family and enjoyed staying active, exercising, and relaxing with his feet up after a long day. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Damien Williams; a daughter, Toni Martin; and three brothers, Michael, James, and George Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Delia (Martin) Williams; five sons, Travis Williams and wife Sheneque of Round Rock, Michael Thompson of Killeen, Gabriel Williams of Tyler, Nicholas Mimm of Dallas, and Elton Martin and wife Karen of Killeen; two daughters, Angela Thomas and Kierra Williams, both of Killeen; one sister, Darshell Williams of San Antonio; two sisters-in-law, Juliett Williams and Jean Martin Powell; a son-in-law, James Wiley Williams; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Williams will be remembered for his dedication, love of family, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life.
