Funeral services for Mrs. Daphney Lorrane Lynch 57, of Hutto, TX will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, 12:00 noon at New Jerusalem International Baptist Church in Killeen, TX. . Viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon prior to the service at the church.
Burial with Military Honors will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Mrs. Lynch passed away February 27, 2025, in Hutto, TX.

Daphney Lorraine Lynch also known to many as "Spoon" was taken from us in Hutto, TX at the age of 57. Daphney was born in Hartsville SC on March 26, 1967, to her mother Phostine Baldwin, and father James Cook, as a child she was raised by and knew Milton McLean as her dad. She was known for her graceful voice and amazing skills in interior decorating. Daphney was raised in the church at a very early age, and with that, she carried and shared her love of God everywhere she went. The love that she had for her family was incredible, and she welcomed everyone that she came across with open arms and love. Daphney attended Douglas Byrd in Fayetteville, where she stood out as an amazing track star, and eventually entered the military where she served 5 years (1985-1991). By the early 90s, Daphney moved to Texas to begin her career as an accounting/ property Manager for ACC for 12 years. Daphney was preceded in death by her mother Phostine Baldwin: Father Milton McLean: and daughter loha Shaw.
She leaves behind her beloved sons Milton Shaw and Miquelle Shaw. Followed by Milton's children, L'Asia McKoy, and Isaiah Mckoy, two granddaughters La'Rain Shaw and K'ari Brooks, along with girlfriend Danielle Webster. Miquelles wife, Vanessa Shaw, and children Venice Mormon, Vaquintin Maestre, Samiyah Shaw, Sherriya and Sherrick Oliver, Iosha's children Haleal Shaw, Charis Shaw, Johnathan Ingram, Stephen Gray, and Cosha Harris. Sister Simone Hooks niece and nephew Janeasia Shaw-hooks, and Maximuz Hooks. Long-time partner Cliff Davis, best friends Almeta Dishroom and Pennie Lee Thomas, Richard Thomas, Joe Anthony Thomas, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
