Visitation for Mrs. Cora Lee Giles, 93 of Killeen, TX will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from (10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) at Balanced Believers Ministries of Central Texas, in Killeen, TX.  Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, in Killeen, TX.

A memorial service will follow the burial at 12:00 p.m. back at Balanced Believers Ministries of Central Texas, in Killeen, TX.

The book of life for CORA LEE GILES was opened February 10, 1931, in Columbus County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Leland & Rachael Lewis. She departed this life November 14, 2024, in Killeen, Texas at home surrounded by family.

At a very early age she confessed Christ and joined Mill Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Whiteville, North Carolina. She remained a dedicated and faithful member as long as her health permitted.

Cora Lee later united in holy matrimony to the late Richard Giles Sr... To this union four children were born. Two preceded her to the grave, Baby Giles and Curtis Lee Giles.

Cora Lee leave to cherish her memory a daughter Easter Ray Stevenson (Doug/William) of Killeen, Texas; Richard Giles Jr. of Whiteville, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren, one sister, Dorothy Johnson of New Haven, Connecticut, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
