Funeral service for Mr. Christy Arthur Fuller, 78 of Killeen, TX will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023, 11:30 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

Another funeral service will be held Monday, October 23, 2023, 12:30 p.m. at Granberry Funeral Home in Jennings, MO with a wake starting at 11:30 a.m., before the service at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will immediately follow the service at the Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.

Christy Arthur Fuller, 78, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on October 9, 2023.

Christy Arthur was born on March 7th, 1945, to Christine and Taylor Fuller, Sr in St. Louis, MO. Christy Arthur graduated from O'Fallon Technical High School in 1964. He enlisted in the United States Navy March 1965 and served six valiant years on the Navy Aircraft Carrier USS Enterprise Stationed off the coast of southern Vietnam. During his time in the Navy, he received several commendations: National Defense Service Medal, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal (with Three Bronze Stars) & a Vietnam Campaign Medal. After returning home from the Navy, he received electrical training at IBEW Local 1 (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) and graduated as an Apprentice Electrician.

Christy Arthur was a family man and through two unions of marriage producing children Christie Maufas, Elaine Maufas, Jared Fuller, Brian Fuller and took in Diane Edwards as his own.

His work as an electrician led to his interest in purchasing Real Estate, where he spent over 25 years as a Residential Real Estate investor in Texas. In the early stages of his Real Estate investing Christy Arthur would create artwork from driftwood to earn cash which in turn he'd use to invest in Real Estate. He loved to SAVE money and boast to all, the wonderful deals he'd find, like 50 cent window curtains from a garage sale. If there was a garage sale happening Christy Arthur was there. He loved to shower his unique finds with family and friends. Through these thrifting expeditions he also made long-lasting relationships.

Christy Arthur was a fun-loving, charismatic, and quick-witted person. If you spoke to him longer than 5 minutes you were sure to hear one of his infamous expressions; 'Wha's wrong wit em?', 'Uh, say mane', 'Moving, right alone', 'Uhnh huh', '…That part!' He was always kind, generous, supportive, and encouraging to his family and friends.

Christy Arthur is survived by his children Christie, Elaine, Brian, Jared, and Diane; seven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Christy Arthur is also survived by his sister Wilma Pickett.

He is preceded in death by his parents Christine Fuller-Jones and Taylor Fuller Sr., sister Bobetta Fuller and brother Taylor Fuller.
