Funeral service for Ms. Christine Davette Jefferson, 68 of Killeen, TX will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service (11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.

Ms. Jefferson passed away August 18, 2021 in Killeen, TX.

Christine was born to Robert H. and Nettie B. Holcomb on December 10, 1952. She attended Wheatley Elementary and Dunbar Jr/Sr High School
in Temple, TX. She also attended Cosmetology School, Jackson Hewitt Tax School and Emerge School of Prophetic Ministry.

Upon completion of attending Cosmetology School and obtaining her license she worked at Head Start Styling Salon and Stylistic Boutique. She also worked for Jackson Hewitt Tax Services, Master Tax and prior to death she worked for CTSS Testing in Killeen, TX.

She loved the Lord and loved helping people even though there were times she felt unappreciated. Mom was over the outreach ministry for Praise
and Deliverance House of Prayer where she attended church. She was a member of the Central Texas Fellowship of Churches Alliance.

Christine was united in marriage to Aaron "Bubba" Jefferson III on June 20, 1992, in Killeen, TX. She had four beautiful daughters. Our mom was
very family oriented, and she loved to cook, read, and listen to her gospel music. She was a pistol and wore many hats. A beacon of light to most
people she came in contact with. Christine affectionately known by her grand and great grandchildren as "Granny" or "Nana". Many high school
and lifelong friends affectionately caller her "Mom". She was loved and will be missed by many.

Thank you, Pamela Sanders, Janet Cates, & Yolanda Golden for being true friends to our mom and always being there to lend a listening ear. She
loved you all and everyone without a doubt.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents Robert H. and Nettie B. Holcomb, two sisters Delores Holcomb and Augustine Holcomb, her
husband Aaron "Bubba" Jefferson, III, daughter "her Angel" Rhondishell Reed-Simon, brother Lonzo Holcomb, son-in-law Kenyatta Hasan, a grandson Jerald D. Allen, Jr, and one great-grandson Avionte D. Kennedy, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three beautiful daughters, Nakashima Hasan (Kay) of Killeen, TX, Tanisha Reed (Candy) of Killeen, TX, and
Shillegah Reed (Coco) of Killeen, TX; two sisters, Frances Holcomb Harris (Davis) of Ohio, and Johnnie B. Holcomb-Butler of Ohio; a host of
grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
