Funeral services for Ms. Charnette Lynn West 55, of Copperas Cove, TX will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at Christian House of Prayer in Copperas Cove, TX. Burial will follow the service at Copperas Cove City Cemetery in Copperas Cove, TX.

Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service (9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) at the church.

Charnette Lynn West was born on June 19, 1968, to parents Eddie West Jr. and Jessie M. West in Grand Rapids, MI. Raised in Grand Rapids she was a past member of the local Messiah Baptist Church. She graduated from Creston High School in Grand Rapids, MI in 1986. Ms. West passed away April 12, 2024, in Killeen, TX.

After high school she attended Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI for two years. She also attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids where she received an associate degree as a Paralegal.

Charnette was a tutor and advocate for under grad students at Central Texas College in Killeen, TX. She attended Saints Center Church in Copperas Cove, TX and was a member of the Fancy Dancers of Killeen, TX. Charnette worked for the telemarketing company GC services in Copperas Cove and Killeen, TX.

Left to cherish her memory: parents, Eddie West Jr and Jessie M. West of Harker Heights, TX; sister, Lashell Denise West-Bradford (Lakeith) of Charlotte, NC; and a host of friends and loved ones who will miss her dearly.
