Memorial Service for Mrs. Cecile B. Gordon of Killeen, TX will be held Sunday, September 4, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

On August 24, 2022, Cecile Gordon, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother passed away peacefully at home at the age of 82 years old.

Cecile (Tin) was born May 5, 1940, and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. She was married to the late Earl Gordon. That union produced one child (Thelma), although Tin was a mother to many, she had many more stepchildren. Tin was a generous, cheerful person who loved to sing praises to God, and always had a smile on her face.  She had a song on her lips for everyone she met, including those on her many long walks throughout the various areas of Killeen, Georgia, Maryland, Hawaii, Germany, and Florida. She would often say to people in a nutshell, "I don't know my earthly father, but I know my Heavenly Father and He takes care of all of us".

Tin will be forever remembered by her loving daughter Thelma, and son-in-law Robert; grandchildren, Gavin, Gary, Gregory, and Tricia; great grandchildren, Kacey, Kyree, Mahki, Gabby, Courtney, Jazlyn, Tyler, and Trinity.

Tin will be sadly missed by her extended and adopted family in Christ; her dear friends, Ms. Thompson, and Mrs. Dari; as well as those whom she touched with her infectious smile and cheerful spirit. From the words of one of her beloved songs, her appeal to you would be….. Go Light Your World.
