Funeral service for Mr. Carlos Turner, 54 of Copperas Cove, TX will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2026, 12:00 p.m. at Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church in Copperas Cove, TX. Burial will follow the service at the Copperas Cove City Cemetery in Copperas Cove, TX.
Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) at the church.
Carlos Turner was born in Frankfurth, Germany on December 23, 1971, to the parentage of Silas and Laura Turner.
Carlos confessed Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and joined Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church in Copperas Cove, Texas. He was a member of the Royal Ambassadors Ministry, Sunday School and Youth Choir.
He graduated from Copperas Cove High School and went on to attend Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas. Carlos' employment history included positions at many locations including the United Parcel Service, Jailer for the Williamson County Sheriff Department, Burger King (Copperas Cove, Texas) Refrigeration, Austin, Texas and McLane, in Temple, Texas. He was a very hard-working, dedicated person who tried to do his very best wherever he was employed.
Carlos was a remarkable individual throughout his life with a beloved role in his community and family caring for his mother knowing she was and is the very best and he was the very best son that anyone could have. He was a loving, quiet, peaceful and caring person who loved the Lord and definitely his mother.
Carlos entered eternal rest at his home on Sunday, June 14, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, Deacon Silas Turner, and left behind loving memories that will be cherished by his mother, Laura Turner; aunt, Frankie Smiley, Birmingham, Alabama; Roderick Thompkins, Birmingham, Alabama; Uncle Mac (Icola), Hayden, Alabama; Teresa Smiley, Prattville, Alabama; Angela Byrd (Daryl), Destinee Byrd, Hayden, Alabama; Lakesha Parham (Chris), Birmingham, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and friends.
"Carlos was an amazing person; he will be dearly missed."
