On March 4, 1999, a baby boy, Carlos Joseph Christian was born to Daphne and Kevin Christian. Raised by his mother in a Christian home,Carlos was not only taught, but also lived by those values.
From birth Carlos's love language was physical touch. As a boy, he would often be found caressing the cheeks and ears of his siblings as he drifted off to sleep.
Beloved son, Carlos's relationship with his parents had as many obstacles, as it did moments of joy. He loved his parents dearly, and expressed it by his unyielding dedication towards independence in hopes of making them proud.
Beloved sibling, Carlos was cherished immensely by his siblings. He hung on their hips and followed in their footsteps, becoming a beacon of hope in his community. Every room he entered he brought joy and levity into it.
Beloved uncle, Carlos deeply loved his nieces and nephew. Quick to hold the babies at the family function, he dreamed of one day becoming a father himself.
Alum of Ellison High School, Carlos always had steady employment and a clear dedication to save up for a family of his own. Dedicating countless hours to every role he had, Carlos hustled and toiled for every dollar he earned at Tesla and beyond.
On July 24th, 2024, Carlos was suddenly called home.
Carlos is survived by his parents Daphne and Kevin Christian, siblings Kevin Jerel Christian (Christina), Mario Christian, Fenyxx Wright and Isaiah Christian, nieces Saniya Christian, Kamiaya Chiselom, Jaelynn Christian, Kennedi Christian, Caylani Hernandez, nephew Kyrie Christian. Godmother Lorrie Thomas, Grandmother Annie Christian, aunties, uncles, countless cousins and chosen family.
Carlos was preceded in death by his grandmother Nellie Mae Wright, grandfathers Joseph Wright and Austin Christian. Uncles Eric B. Christian,
Maurice Malone and Aunt Valerie Malone.
Special one in his life; Kamela Cole & Family.
To remember Carlos is to remember a man who was joyful, hard-working and loving. To his family, he was so much, a cousin, son, uncle, and brother. Remember Carlos by who he hoped to be.
