Our beloved Benita (Davis) Reeves entered into God's Kingdom on June 21, 2023, after a long, yet courageous battle with breast cancer.

Benita Reeves was born to Ben Davis, Sr., and Inez (Davis) Burns on August 10, 1970, in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was number eleven of twelve children and a twin. Benita was a graduate of Portsmouth High School, class of 1988, and a graduate of nursing in Dayton, Ohio. She relocated to Texas in 2013, where she continued her nursing career, and retired as a nurse at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, Texas.

As a loyal servant to God, Benita's faith was bigger than any obstacle that came her way. She was a master crafter and enjoyed spending time making memories with her family, especially her grandchildren who knew her as "NAN." Everybody who knew Benita also knew that she was a huge sports fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Benita was preceded in death by her parents, Ben Davis, Sr., and Inez (Davis) Burns; and siblings, Kenneth Bolden, Geri Bolden, Donna Carr, Robert Bolden, and Lawrence Bolden.

Benita is survived by her children, Cory Reeves (Colelayna), Isaiah Reeves (Morgan), Ambrosha Reeves (Derick), and bonus daughter, Daylon Pickard (Chris); and siblings, twin brother, Ben Davis (Michelle), Patricia Stephens, Gary Bolden (Mary), George Bolden (Michelle), James Bolden, and Vivian Stinson (Roger). Benita was also NAN to ten grandchildren, had a loving dog, Tucker, and is also survived by a host of other family and friends.
