Memorial service for Mr. Anthony Vernon Andrews Sr., 65 of Killeen, TX will be held Friday, June 27, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

Anthony "Tony" Andrews was born at Fort Wolters, Texas on July 22, 1959, to Eldrige Lloyd and Jo Ann Andrews. He passed away June 12, 2025, in Killeen, TX.

Tony received Christ at an early age, and he loved the Lord. He was a member of Mt. Olive AME Church. Where he sang in the choir, served on usher board, and participated in YPD activities.

He was a graduate of Mineral Wells High School, Class of 1977. He started his working career, as a young man, at Cantex in Mineral Wells and was employed there for many years. He relocated to Killeen, Texas and begin a new career at the Bell County Sheriff's Department and retired in July 2024.

Tony had an infectious smile always displaying those deep dimples, However, don't let the smile or dimples fool you he was a no-nonsense man. He loved old school R&B music, shooting pool, watching a variety of sports, eating a variety of foods, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents Eldridge and Jo Ann Andrews.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Tanesha Andrews-Williams, Anthony Andrews Jr., Ryan Andrews Sr, William "Joe Baby" Higginson, and Tiahna Higginson; eight grandchildren; De'ja, Talia, Sean Patrick, Zachariyah, Zipporah, Ryan Jr, Jaelyn, Mila; and one great granddaughter on the way. Siblings William Andrews, Melvia Andrews-Norwood, Melonie Andrews-Matthewson, and Melvoda Andrews-Cunningham. A very special Uncle and Aunt, Edward and Gwendolyn Philmon, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
