A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Copperas Cove with Father Augustine Ariwaodo officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Copperas Cove City Cemetery in Copperas Cove, TX.

Amber Christine Gorman, 40, of Copperas Cove passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, surrounded by family.

She was born August 13, 1983, at Fort Hood, TX, daughter of Troy and Kathy Gorman. Amber attended Copperas Cove High School and graduated in 2002. Amber was a devoted mother to her cherished children, Isiah Ortiz, and Gabriella ("Gabi") Ortiz. Amber worked as a Mortgage Closer for Fairway Independent Mortgage Company. Amber enjoyed photography, her dogs, riding horses and yearly trips to Indiana to visit her extended family. She was a loving sister to Shane Gorman and sister-in-law to Sara Gorman, and she adored her nephews Lance and Luke Gorman.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, and her infectious laughter that brightened the lives of all who knew her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Those left to cherish her memory include: her loving children, Isiah Ortiz and Gabriella ("Gabi") Ortiz; parents, Troy and Kathy Gorman; brother Shane Gorman (wife Sara); nephews, Lance and Luke Gorman; grandmother, Joyce Gorman ("Grams"); and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
