Celebration of Life services for Mr. Alexander "AJ" Melvin Lewis Ealy Jr. 5, of Killeen, TX will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, 11:30 a.m. at Anderson Chapel AME in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Viewing will be held prior to the service from (10:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.) at the church. orld at 11:55 p.m. on April 21, 2020, in Temple, Texas.

AJ was our rainbow baby, a beautiful promise after the storm, sent to bring joy, healing, and unmeasurable love into our lives. From the moment he arrived, he radiated light and purpose, wrapping our hearts in the purest form of love. His laughter, affection, and bright smile, paired with those unforgettable dimples, brought joy to everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

AJ began his educational journey at just 18 months old at Excellent Covenant Christian Academy, where he blossomed academically and spiritually. He eagerly absorbed new things and enjoyed every moment spent with his teachers and friends. He also learned the fundamentals of soccer through Fort Cavazos Tiny Troops, developing not only skills on the field but also teamwork, discipline, and confidence.

AJ had many passions that filled his days with happiness. He loved electronics, story time with his dad, creating arts and crafts, and actively participating in his youth group, LaBrent U. Epps Palace #3 (E.L. Downing Court #237, Heroines of Jericho, Killeen, Texas). Whether at church, school, or home, AJ was a joyful presence, full of energy, hugs, and smiles.

He also loved music, and his favorite songs brought him joy and inspiration "Big" by Pastor Mike Jr., "Beautiful Day" by Jamie Grace, and "I'm Blessed" by Charlie Wilson. These songs were often the soundtrack of his happy moments, and they will forever remind us of his vibrant spirit.

His favorite foods included macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets, fries, fried chicken, green beans, rice, spaghetti, pancakes, waffles, sloppy joe, hot dogs, apples, oranges, pineapples, strawberries, bananas, and bread. For dessert, he loved vanilla ice cream with sprinkles, cupcakes, Oreos, and a refreshing glass of lemonade or water.

Though AJ's time with us was short, the impact he made in those precious five years was immeasurable. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

AJ is survived by his loving parents, Alexander L. Ealy and Juanita Davis-Ealy; his two sisters, Zipporah and Kiera; grandparents, great-grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, church family, school community, masonic community, and countless others who were touched by his presence.

AJ departed far too soon on July 10, 2025, in Clermont, Florida. We find comfort in knowing that AJ is now wrapped in the arms of our Heavenly Father, smiling down on us with those precious dimples, watching over the ones he loved so dearly.
