Funeral services for Mr. Adren Eston Baker 36, of Copperas Cove, TX will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at Copperas Cove City Cemetery, in Copperas Cove, TX.

Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service (9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.).

Mr. Baker passed away September 7, 2023, in Alton, IL.

Lewis & Catherine Baker was blessed with their son Adren Eston Baker on March 18,1987, he was born in Darnell Army hospital at Ft, Hood, Texas. He was the youngest of their three children & Adren was affectionately called by his nickname A.B. by his friends. To his mother he was her Bubba. Adren came to the Christian House of Prayer at the age of 2 yrs. Old with his family. He was taught the word of God in the nursery & The Children's Church. Adren loved being a part of the CHOP family where he grew to love & respect Bishop Nathaniel Holcomb & Pastor Valerie Holcomb & the church leaders as his spiritual leaders. Adren was saved & came to know the Lord for himself.

Adren was raised in the city of Copperas Cove, Texas attending elementary & Jr. High in the CCISD school system.  After JR. High school Adren attended CTC's American Preparatory Institute graduating with honors. He then went on to study Culinary Arts/Hotel Hospitality Management at the Culinary Institute of St. Louis. Adren was gifted as an artist that included barbering & tattooing and was also an entrepreneur.

His passion of all of his skills & talents was cooking & boy could he burn. He was a perfectionist. If Adren prepared a meal for you, you could bet it was finger licking good. Adren was articulate & very particular. He was a kind & passionate young man. He was like a human magnet, & wherever Adren ventured people were drawn to him to include people from all walks of life as well as all ethnicities. This included the young & the old & no matter the level Adren was loved by them all.

Later in life Adren relocated to Illinois where he continued his culinary studies & established many more friendships. It was in Illinois that Adren's daughter Zaliyah Rose Baker was born & he was a proud father. He was also the stepfather to Serenity Price.

Adren is survived by his parents Lewis & Catherine Baker. His brother Shedrick Baker of St. Petersburg Florida & sister Rasheedah Gant of Indiana. Aunts Aretha Baker, Pearlie Mae White of Florida. Linda Robinson, Janet Tucker (Bernard) of Philadelphia, PA.  Lora Glasgow of Clinton S.C., Lillian Gambrell of Phila. PA. Uncle Willie Lee Porter of Florida & a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

Adren was preceded in death by his grandparents Eston & Thelma Baker/Willis & Catherine Erwin.

To everyone present & those live streaming Adren loved each & every one of you as well as he respected all who were his elders. This is not Adren saying goodbye, AB is saying I'll see you on the other side. So be ready or get ready & let's meet in the kitchen of Heaven. It is well with my soul!
